The Square Buying Portal  manages the acquisition of items purchased and consigned and related seller and consignor information.  It operates in tandem with Square and Square for Retail.  It may include any of the NextGen pricing tools.
The Portal is optimized for the CHROME BROWSER; it is the Browser we recommend.

There are four NextGen POS Pricing Tools:

  1.  Women Includes more than 16,000 brands and hundreds of types of clothing, footwear, jewelry and accessories,  and
  2. Children (Maternity optional).  Includes nearly 10,000 brands and over 500 types  of clothing, footwear, accessories, toys & equipment. 
  3. Men Includes 6000 brands and close to 100 types of clothing, footwear, and accessories, and
  4. Home Furnishings  includes 2500 brands and 240 types of decorations, furniture and other movable items in the home.

    • Click here  to Schedule an Online Demo at a convenient time and date.  
    • The demo provides a guided tour of the Buying/Pricing Portal with immediate answers to questions that arise.  
    • A NextGen representative will call you at the appointed time. 
      A FEW MINUTES PRIOR TO THE DEMO, click here to “Join the Demo (meeting)”.  You will be prompted for the Demo (meeting) ID, which the NextGen representative will relate to you when he or she calls.

    • Click here   to Schedule an Online Walk-Thru(Training) at a convenient time and date.  NextGen will call you at the appointed time. 
      A FEW MINUTES PRIOR TO THE WALK THRU, click here to download and run the Teamviewer Quick Support link TeamviewerQS (#?).exe.   You will first see the message “Loading Teamviewer now”.  Once loaded, click [Run].  
       A screen will appear with the Session Code and a space to provide your name, and the following  message will appear “Please wait until NextGen joins the Session”.  You will then see a message asking you to “allow” NextGen to  “allow” remote control.  Select [Allow], and The NextGen reprresentative will be able to share your screen.  Once the session has ended, the link will evaporate.
      • In addition to the operation of the Portal, the walk -thru covers the importing of the Portal information to Square  or Square for Retail for sales and for managing cash and store credit payments to sellers and consignors.  The walk-thru is done on your PC or Mac; if you have actual items to enter, all the better.   To walk-thru, you must have an active Square or Square for Retail account, and a Portal trial account, 

AT LEAST ONE DAY PRIOR TO THE WALK-THRU Click here  to Register for a 30-day free Portal Trial Account   NextGen will setup your account and email the User Name and Password needed to access it.  Once we’ve completed the walk-thru, you may use the account at no cost for thirty days.  
If and when you decide to subscribe, you will be directed to PayPal to set up monthly credit card payments,  Payments may be discontinued and the account closed at anytime.  

  • To obtain written help during and after the trial  period  . . . 
    • Select [Help Children] or [Help Wmn/Men] from anywhere in the Portal; clicking on a topic of interest in the Table of Contents of the Help Guide will take you to that topic.
